CUT COPY "Need You Now" MP3 + OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO

Cut Copy

The first official music video from Cut Copy’s Zonoscope is for their single “Need You Now” was premiered on Stereogum today. It was directed by the talented Keith Schofield. His work can be seen in Chromeo’s “Don’t Turn The Lights On,” Charlotte Gainesbourg’s “Heaven Can Wait” and Justice’s “Let Love Rule.” So knowing that you would expect something pretty exciting and fresh. But to tell you the truth I have absolutely have no idea what the video was about. The Aussies perform on a stage while athletes from sports such as Tae Kwon Do, American football, boxing, gymnastics and track & field prance around. I’m sure there’s a connection there. But it just may be the fact it’s like a campy eighties random filled video. Artists such as Met At Work, Duran Duran and New Order had some pretty wacky videos back in the day.
