“The future of music can not be compared to anything – this is The Sound of Arrows!”
That’s what the presser said. Now whether or not the new signing by Labrador will be the future of music, they surely are a nice catch and addition to the Labrador family. Slightly veering in the last few releases, Labrador has been expanding its penchant ear for pop.
The Sound of Arrow’s “Danger” beginning like it was cut and copied from some homemade digital mix beats eventually turns into a pleasant affair. Though not as strong of a single to be expected from a Labrador release, it’s slightly off-beat and kilter harmonic composition is really really pleasant. It grows on you and you can hear where The Sound of Arrows may be taking you.
We will all see the future May 7, 2008 when their 9 track EP CD will be released.
