Pallers

The moody new single “The Kiss” by Swedish duo Pallers gets turned into a an acoustic tropical down pour by another Swedish duo Suburban Kids With Biblical Names. Remarkably it sounds like a brand new song.

ARCADE FIRE "The Suburbs" + "Month of May" MP3 + TOUR

Arcade Fire

Arcade Fire, this decade’s biggest breakthrough in “indie rock” announced their third album The Suburbs.  With a pre-order available on their website for August 3rd via Merge Records (August 2nd in the UK), the band has also announced a tour line-up which practically includes every big music festival this summer around the world.  Their two new tracks “The Suburbs” and “Month of May” both share the definitive sounds that the Arcade Fire have been known for.  “The Suburbs” is an acoustic tinged track with ramshackling instruments and dark vocals where as “Month of May” is a more revved up rocking sensation.  If you’ve been a fan of Arcade Fire, you’ll be pleased with these two new tracks.

CAMERA OBSCURA "Forests & Sands" LIVE MUSIC VIDEO

Camera Obscura by Yours Truly

Having a full week of indie-pop, I thought I’d have enough.  But today Pitchfork posted that excellent videographer Yours Truly took footage of Scottish pop stars Camera Obscura in San Fransisco last month.  Through their acoustic and intimate performance of “Forests & Sands” the Scots looked and sounded excellent.
