THE HUNDRED IN THE HANDS "Pigeons" MP3 + MUSIC VIDEO

The Hundred In The Hands

Another band gunning for the spotlight, The Hundred In The Hands are one of the few that will get their music noticed before the end of the year. Their new music video “Pigeons” is a clear representation why millions flock to the city of New York. Old and new occur here simultaneously and organically. On top of that the music that is spawned from and inspired by these city buildings is rarely matched here. An example of that is The Hundred In The Hands. The lifestyle and culture of these New York-ans captured to a brand new tune.

LA SCALA "Tu Farai" (Mina Cover) MP3

La Scala

Chicago’s La Scala with front woman Gretta Rochelle of My Gold Mask does this incredible cover of 1960’s Italian pop star Mina’s “Tu Farai.” With her belting prowess and sexy chops, the old classic becomes a powerful heart pounding song.  The collaboration on this song is quite organic using the band’s eclectic sound along with Gretta’s hypnotic vocal control.

THE BEATLES "And I Love Her" (Allure Remix) MP3

The Beatles

I first discovered this remix of The Beatles’ “And I Love Her” from dance music sensationalist blog Dipped In Dollars. I was skeptical at first. A classic remixed into an electro heart beating dance tune? Well, French producer Allure proved me wrong. Starting off with the simple guitar notes from the original track, the song slowly builds into a shaking yet unraucoused dance anthem. Filling my ears with nostalgia of the original yet giving me the sensation to just groove harder than they did back then. At times I am confused as to whether to dance in the sun on green grass or to move it in a flickering low-lit club. This is one remix that should not escape your digital collections.
