M.I.A. “27” STREAM

In the wake of Amy Winehouse’s death, M.I.A. released a previously unreleased track called “27.” Of course in reference to all of the musicians and artists that have passed away at the young age of “27.” M.I.A. via twitter stated “i recorded this song B4 vickileekx and never put it out. its a unfinished demo.” (download the mix here) and ended it with “R.I.P A.M.Y.”

As stated, this song was recorded prior to Amy’s death and it does sound unfinished. It also includes the lyrics “…all rock stars go to heaven.” But the raucous in noise is what we’ve all heard before from M.I.A. and makes sense in the light of the things have happened.
