One of the most under the radar artists that I’ve been a fan of is I AM NOXIOUS. After a string of great songs including his cover of The Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling” and originals like “Watch My Ship Go Down” and “The Snowman” he’s set to release his first official single “Flashback Tears.” An earlier version has been put on the net. But this newer version was mixed by Joachim Ekermann (who’ve mixed debuts for amazing artists such as Jenny Wilson, Blood Music and First Aid Kit). On top of that he’s cleaned it up a bit and added a few more elements to make the electro pop song even more layered with goodness. Even the simple addition of the guitars and vocals on the chorus makes the song even bigger.

The single will be released February 21st, 2011 on Danish label Tigerspring. A music video that accompanies the song was also released today. Filmed by Opus Film it’s a charming addition to paint out what I AM NOXIOUS’ songs are all about. Download the earlier version of the song below.
