BIG WAVE RIDERS “It’s Funny Things Aren’t Going To Change” MP3

Big Wave Riders

Strangely enough, I just talked about the New Year and the possibilities of “change” in my previous post.  And even though I am trying to think positive, Finland’s Big Wave Riders’ newest track speaks of the of the ironic truth. Their “holiday” track “It’s Funny Things Aren’t Going To Change” combines the jangle pop of Vampire Weekend and the slurring post-punk of Joy Division. It’s a weird combination but this song is absolutely irresistable. It’s a high energy track that would make the sweater boys burn the souls off their loafers. It’s a popping jam that would make the new born indie pop girls warm inside. I’m hoping for the best next year, but if “things don’t change” I’ll pop this track in and sway the woes away.
