The Hundred In The Hands

It’s really really hard to stand out amongst the flock of artists that come out of Brooklyn, New York. And even if you do happen to “make it” now a days it’s quite short-lived. But even if the artist is aware, they shouldn’t put in any less effort with their music. And is with the case, The Hundred In The Hands’s debut. Even if it’s a tad late in the wave of artists that have come before them such as Bloc Party, Metric and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, their post-punk dance anthems don’t miss. With their recent new single “Commotion” they recall the likes of Blondie gone disco. Eleanore Everdell’s dark and banshee like vocals would give all those late night sweat mongers chills down their spines.
