THE KNOCKS “Dancing With The DJ” (Chiddy Bang Remix)

The Knocks

These guys seemed to have come out of nowhere. Debuting with Holy Ghost! They’ve touring with the likes of Big Boi, Sleigh Bells, BoB, Scissor Sisters, RJD2 and M.I.A. They have also produced remixes for big stars such as Katy Perry and Passion Pit. And now although their new single may not having you falling in love like Usher’s “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love,” the track “Dancing With The DJ” will do just that. A fusion of nu-disco and DFA-like production will keep this track spinning for quite some time. It’s got smooth aesthetics and gives you the feeling quite familiar that’ll leave itself hanging on the tip of your tongue. Enough of a familiarity to tell yourself “fuck it” and just dance.

And now with Chiddy Bang’s take, they’ve given even more “umph!” power. The to not only move and groove you but just outright wave those hands in the air like you just don’t care. This is the ultimate combination.
