BODY LANGUAGE “Social Studies” MP3 + FREE EP

Body Language

Brooklyn’s sensual love Body Language put out their Social Studies EP free on BandCamp today. And it’s absolutely worth getting! It’s slight departure from their quirky pop sensibilities in early songs such as “Huffy Ten Speed.” Songs such as “You Can” and “Falling Out” are much much more groove oriented. They’re titillating and sensual. The percussion hits you hard.  With “Social Studies” they move back to the fun and light-hearted form of pop.  Then finally with “Temperature” the EP is closed with another vibrant track but calling on broader and bigger arrangements. If this just an intro to what the guys are going to be pulling on their full-length then I hope it comes out soon.

The band has shows throughout CMJ week next week so check them out!
