Another perfect entry for the summer, Sunglasses’ “Stand Fast” is a big wall of pop song that grazes the edges of psychedelia that blends the two styles effortlessly.  Shimmering guitars and whistles abound, the psychedelic mentality embraces the simpleness of bubblegum pop. Joining Neon Indian on the Lefse label, the southern duo will be releasing their self-titled debut EP June 15th.  A handful of New York shows will precede and be announced after as well.

New York dates:

6.02.10 @ Glasslands in Brooklyn, New York
6.03.10 @ Home Sweet Home in New York, New York (DJ Set)
6.11.10 @ Pianos, New York, New York
