When people think of Indonesia they instantly think (if they have any brains) of the lovely pleasure island of Bali. But what people don’t know that the islands of Indonesia is full and rich arts and music. Between the capital of Jakarta and the city of Bandung there’s has been hundreds of bands making fantastic music. On top of that both cities have hosted numerous bands from all of the world from Kings of Convenience, Jens Lekman and The Ting Tings.  But one of Bandung’s own product Bottlesmoker produces some of the most interesting electric music.

The duo’s track “Free Hugs” swirls around in bubbly dissonance.  A track that may describe the bright sunny days in Bandung.  Check out some of their more experimental tracks on their MySpace.
