The Depreciation Guild

Music Blog The Music Slut got to debut a new track from The Depreciation Guild’s upcoming album Spirit Youth.  The track “Crucify” is a blistering track at high speeds.  The Depreciation Guild has been one of the bands that have been slumped into the revival of shoegaze or how I like to call it “nu-gaze.”  The song reminds me more of nineties bands like Seaweed though a with a pinch of prettier.  Maybe even a sped up Jesus and Mary Chain.  The guitars jangle and then sonically echo in the chorus.  The percussion pounds away as if though Dave Grohl could’ve been playing drums for the band but that’s not to take away from Anton.  Their new album Spirit Youth will be out May 18th, 2010 on Kanine Records.

They’ve also announced a new European Tour.

MP3: ”Crucify You

When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and
now each time a comment is added I get several emails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Bless you!
