KENNY LOGGINS "Danger Zone" (Solid Gold Cover) MP3

One of the biggest bands from the Mini-Apple performed in the Big Apple last night… well, Brooklyn.  Bringing their solid music and live show (pardon the pun), Solid Gold moved and grooved a full house at Glasslands.  Asses were shaking, hips girating and sweat profusely showered the hot and heavy hipsters trying to swallow each other up.   The band performed my favorite “Bible Thumpr” as well as their hit songs “Get Over It,” “Who You Gonna Run To?” and new song “One In A Million.”  But what surprised me was their cover of Kenny Loggins’ “Danger Zone.”  Even though Solid Gold’s live show brings more booty to their songs with thundering bass and hyped up electro beats, you can tell that the band really likes to bring their Midwestern rock.  And rock they did with their cover.

Now having completed their first east coast tour, the band will be heading out west.  They’ll have dates with Jamie Lidell and Lemonade.
