The Pains of Being Pure At Heart photo by Annie Powers

One of the most sincere bands to come out of the Pitchfork “Best New Music” parade have been hard at work crafting their sophomore album.  The Pains played an insane amount of shows at last year’s SXSW to touring the world and continuing their live attack this year hitting as far as the far east.  Well, with all of the work ahead of them they haven’t stopped.  The Pains of Being Pure At Heart has announced another tour and a new single.

The new single “Say No To Love” will be released June 8th, 2010 on Slumberland Records and by Fortuna Pop! in the United Kingdom.  It’ll be on a sea foam green vinyl 7″ with the b-side being the track “Lost Saint.” Definitely vinyl worth buying.
