SOLID GOLD Daytrotter Session + Tour

Solid Gold

The Minneapolis indie rock kings recorded a session for Daytrotter back in January.  Recording  new tracks “Elephants” and “One In A Million,” a cover of Chris Isaac’s “Wicked Game” and hit song “Who You Gonna Run To?” the songs are an exact replica of their moody live shows.  Full of groove and warmth my attraction to these songs are still as strong as they are when listening to the excellent recordings in Bodies of Water.  Download the complete session here.

But now having blasted through last week’s SXSW 2010, the band is about to head out on a short tour sporting new songs and maybe even cover.  Check out the tour dates below:

04.02.10 @ Bar & Grill in Morris, Minnesota
04.03.10 @ The Annex in Madison, Wisconsin
04.04.10 @ Subterranean in Chicago, Illinois
04.06.10 @ DC9 in Washington, DC
04.07.10 @ M Room in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
04.08.10 @ Mercury Lounge in New York, New York
04.09.10 @ Glasslands in Brooklyn, New York
