Andrew Clark is a designer. Not only of sharp brochures, websites, ads and newsletters but also of irresistible electro dream pop. Self-recording songs while going to school is tough enough. But producing high quality songs is even tougher. A new track titled “Sometimes Things Don’t Match Up” by the Ohioan going by the moniker of Future Trends continues his efforts into completing his album Palace of Dust. Sounding between notable bands such as The Notwist, OMD and DNTEL, the track is slightly more aggressive than his previous tracks such as “Eyes From Heaven.” If the 80s defined a time when all was obsessed with the future, then Future Trends is bringing the future back.
