THE PAINS OF BEING PURE AT HEART “Gothenberg Handshake” MP3

The Pains of Being Pure At Heart

My good ole buddies in Brooklyn, New York indie fuzz-pop band The Pains of Being Pure At Heart just released a new demo track called “Gothenburg Handshake.”

There is absolutely no questioning the foursomes wearing their influences on their sleeves. This is the perfect mix of jangling guitars and vocoded vocals and lyrically singing of another influence of their’s, Gothenburg, Sweden.

The band had just signed to long time pop purveyor Slumberland and are quite close to completing their debut full-length. With the right push these guys can really hit it big push their c86 brand of influenced pop into the forefront.

Coincidentally enough, they’ll also be heading to Sweden this Fall! You Swedes better get ready for some American pop!
