BIKINI “1 2 3 4” (Feist Cover) MP3

Here’s a cute duo from Montreal, Canada named Bikini. As their bio states, Aaron Aujla and Johnny Penn are little rascals.

The two producers met at the prestigious Glenlyon Norfolk University Prep School in 2002, graduating with almost a quarter of a million dollars in scholarships between them. Penn entered the dark circus of Montreal, joining the likes of Tokyo Police Club, Wolf Parade, and Chromeo in the halls of McGill University. Aujla moved to the Queen West neighborhood of Toronto, only to be kicked out of school and make his fortune as a fine artist.

As of yet, no amount of money or trouble has satisfied the two. Their wild antics and unquenchable ambition have brought media scrutiny and underground fame, but the young up-and-comers look the other way. Instead they focus on their first collaboration and their most promising venture to date.

They’ve posted a Postal Service-like cover of Feist’s “1 2 3 4” on their MySpace. The cover is not breaking any ground but it is quite charming and sweet. This is another song that you can add to your lazy summer Sundays while sipping on some sweet sugar-filled iced tea.

July7, 2008 will see the release of their self-released Concerning the number 7 and your Love EP. Make you check it out before they possibly blow up like their Montreal contemporaries.
