ANDREA REVEL “Brave New Dorm” (from Target Commercial)

Andrea Revel
There was this commercial that I just saw a few hours ago and thought that it had a really cute “pop” jingle in it. It was for a recent Target commercial titled “Brave New Dorm.” From my research it was commissioned from singer song writer Andrea Revel. Andrea is a Canadian song writer who influenced by the likes of Nancy Sinatra and Peggy Lee writes an eclectic sound of vibrant pop blended with folk also well-known from other Canadian artists such as Tegan & Sara thought at times more subdued and “adult contemporary.” But I tell you one thing, I’d love to get my hands on a full version of that “Brave New Dorm” song.

The sneeze did an interview with Andrea about this song. Seems that there isn’t a full version. The interview can be found here (you may have to scroll down a bit). http://www.thesneeze.com
