Well, there’s not much to say other than that The Pains of Being Pure At Heart is keeping going strong and deserve all the love. The second single from their forthcoming sophomore album “Belong” is now available for stream. If the fact that the album was produced by Flood and mixed by Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails, My Bloody Valentine, U2, and PJ Harvey, Depeche Mode, etc) doesn’t tell you anything, well let’s say that their big shimmery guitars are even bigger and that they’ll be hitting up all of the right spots for indie pop, twee and even shoegaze lovers.
