Redeeming themselves with Lust Lust Lust and then In and Out of Control, The Raveonettes are going to be releasing their fifth full-length Raven In The Grave via Vice Records on April 4th, 2011. Now there hasn’t been any “leaked” or released singles from the album. But if they’re continuing the trend from the last two albums and not touching Pretty In Black territory we’ll be getting another great Jesus & Mary Chain highly influenced album. And that’s not a slight to the band. They’ve been quite consistent minus the one misstep in putting out wall of sound albums, numerous singles and live shows that support what they’ve produced in the studio. So let’s hope that we’ll hear something soon.
In the mean time, be prepared to see them live with the ever dark and gothic Tamaryn. I’ve seen them numerous times early in their career and they deliver.
