Alright, I was skimming over the wonderful blog Pretty Much Amazing. I saw that there was a second track from Peter Bjorn and John’s Gimme Some that has been “released.” Now, I wouldn’t agree with calling it “surf pop.” But there is a definite bigger jangle to the track compared to the rocking “Second Chance.” I would say it’s much more similar to what Vampire Weekend has been doing with their music. There’s a little bit of a Caribbean-tinge to it; especially in the breakdown of the outro. So in the end, I wouldn’t picture myself surfing to this track. But I can see it being a sunny beach day accompaniment.
