Peter Bjorn and John’s new track “Second Chance” premiered on Stereogum yesterday. And I’ll be honest, I haven’t listened to the group in years. But the new track did spark my ears to take a listen. Guitar driven, it contains a charming groove with a great hook and melody. Kind of reminds me of the classic hits that sprung from the seventies. Absolutely classic. The song will be featured on their sixth studio album Gimme Some. If the rest of the album sounds like “Second Chance” it may get me to listen to indie rock once again.
