New music from pop Queen Madonna has surfaced and she’s still moving just as smoothly as she did 20 years ago. The highly collaborated-filled album Hard Candy surely showcases the fact that even with age Madonna “knows what’s up.” Never sounding a step behind she’s kept up with the times on an artistic level and even on a physical level.
The rumbaesque vibe to “Give It 2 Me” is a lot more catchy and entertaining than her previous single “4 Minutes.” Even though the video is quite simple, the artistic quality is quite today. Though she didn’t defeat Mariah Carey in terms of sales during the pop queen wars, Madonna definitely out does her on an artistic level. She remains relevant rather than just aiming to have one single to sell an album.
Her induction into the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame was quite deserved and warranted.
