Wow, I keep getting impressed and more and more so every time I listen to the new Cut Copy album In Ghost Colours. Their new music video for “Hearts On Fire” doesn’t only recall vintage 80s new wave nostalgia but the song itself also recalls old vintage 80s ala New Order or The Pet Shop Boys. Director Nagi Noda really brought out the song’s vintage callings.
I missed the Aussies perform here in New York but boy am I glad that I had a chance to see them live at SXSW. All I know is that if they’re a city near you, you best drive out to catch their clubtastic live show. Whether they’re playing their instruments or have their show programmed, the music itself have your heart on fire.
