BEIRUT The Flying Cub Cup REVEALED

Didn’t I just about him (them) not too long ago?  Well, it looks like there’s going to be an influx of Beirutness on the internet coming really soon.  With his sophomore album The Flying Cub Cup coming out real soon, there’s going to be a great deal of anticipation as to whether it will live up to the hype The Gulag Orkestar generated.  Will there be a track on the album to rival the nostalgia extracting hit “Postcards From Italy?”

As mentioned before, Zach Condon has stated that there will a lot more “French chason” influenced music on the album.  There will be other instruments he’s just learned on the album.  There might even possibly be electrobits on it.
