TONY WILSON R.I.P.

TONY WILSON

It was reported by NME on August 7, 2007 that Anthony Wilson legend for having created Factory Records has passed away at the age of 57 from a heart attack. Having signed bands such as Joy Division, New Order and the Happy Mondays, he was such a key role on the influences on so many of the bands that I have listened to and also influenced labels that have influenced me to start my own record label. Our subculture today as we know it may not have existed if it wasn’t for this man.

About

Twentyseven Views is an extension of the boy who runs Twentyseven Records. This blog will be a passage way into his mind where his opinions, thoughts, findings on music, film and other forms of art will be available for FREE to the whole world. I am not in a race to be a taste maker. I am here to be honest. Most blogs are usually written in the WEE AM. So pardon my terrible grammar. MP3s are used to help promote the artists and musicians. Please buy their art!
