I only posted about the sensational British vocalist only two days ago. I raved on about her sensational performance of her hit single “Rehab” at Lollapalooza 2007. She was riviting with her seductive voice. But only two days later was it reported by Holly Scoop that it has been confirmed that Amy Winehouse has been hospitalized for a drug overdose.
Hopefully this will be a wake up call for the extremely talented diva. She has too much natural raw talent to be scarfed away by the trepidation that celebrity can bring to the table.
A handful of her gigs as well as festival appearances in Denmark and Norway have been canceled. Even her opening for The Rolling Stones in Germany can’t be salved. There is no word when her will be able to perform.
I would really like to see her live soon and hopefully she will be back up and running in no time.
